EAP information
An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a package of tools and support services to help employees confidentially through life’s day to day challenges. The service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year accessed by a help line and on-line support services. An employer purchases an EAP to support employees and is free at the point of use. The service is generally bought on an annual contract basis. The EAP information offers support, detail, expert advice and specialist counselling to help employees prepare for life’s predictable milestones and unexpected events. Many services also offer proactive guidance to help employees stay healthy and enjoy physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. We are passionate about EAP’s at enlighten as the EAP package is a fantastic yet cost effective to way to support employees.
Account management
At enlighten we are an independent broker of EAP’s, we are proud of the high standard of account management we give to our EAP customers. The enlighten team are very knowledgeable about the various EAP products and packages available. Our account management service to the HR team or EAP information co-ordinator includes an annual account management telephone call. All the quarterly usage reports and regular promotional reminder emails. Ask us a question Monday to Friday during office hours about the EAP product and a managed renewal process with regular annual market reviews as needed.
Communication
Promotion and communication of the Employee Assistance Programme to employees is key to ensuring all employees understand the service and how it can support them. We assist the EAP co-ordinator with all the detail to understand the EAP information support available. Then how to promote this to employees with various comms tools from an EAP App to posters and regular email communication. The account management service is available throughout the EAP contract year.

As members of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) our ethics are paramount for both our clients and our own employees. Enlighten has held EAPA membership for 17 years.
