We aim to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Our standard counselling model is short-term, solution-focused therapy—perfectly suited to figuring out the problems an employee is facing and helping to overcome them efficiently. For deeper issues—such as traumatic stress—we offer more advanced therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing.
Every counsellor at Health Assured holds, at minimum, a qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy that is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
They each boast three years post-qualification experience, and have conducted at least 250 hours of counselling training, 250 hours of counselling practice and 40 hours of private client contact time in the last 12 months.
EAPA says
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) are now widespread in the UK, with nearly half the UK working population having access to one. The number of programmes on offer has tripled since 2005. This is according to 2013 research from the UK Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) working with Enlighten.
